  • the boots are very comfortable
  • they give good traction on many surfaces, including on ice and snow
  • the boots provide good ankle, joint support
  • they are very lightweight
  • they are very well made

CONS:
  • pricey
  • not entirely waterproof
  • too short laces
  • the arch support could be improved

I was skeptical when I ordered these boots and the first time I put them on, they felt a little bit tight.

First of all, I was happy to see that they look even better in real life than in photos. As for the fit, my feet are regular wide and I know that almost all the boots need a break in period. Even so, the break in time wasn’t that long and they didn’t give me any blisters or sore feet than or any other time.

These boots are not entirely waterproof (because of the mesh), but, as long as the depth of the snow/water doesn’t go higher than the boots, you should be covered. Anyways, the boots get dry very fast so it’s not such a problem if they get wet in the summertime…

I like these boots as they give me great support for the joints and ankles.

As a matter of fact, when it comes to comfort, these boots really do their job. The air cushioned heel is a big plus.

The boots are wider in the front and the toe box is quite roomy.

I use these boots a lot on my hikes but their looks make them easy and nice to wear even when I run errands around town.

The boots are well made, feel long lasting and sturdy.

They give me confidence even on slippery or rocky trails as they give good traction, no matter how heavy duty the terrain is.

I have plantar fasciitis and some small bunions and I worried when the boots came, but they comforted my feet pretty well.

The sole is non-skidding and that’s a great thing.

I also like the colors of these boots and I wear them even in the wintertime, as long as the snow doesn’t get too high. They manage to keep my feet warm enough.

My „pros” are:

  • the boots are very comfortable
  • they give good traction on many surfaces, including on ice and snow
  • the boots provide good ankle, joint support
  • they are very lightweight
  • they are very well made

There are a few minor things that I don’t like that much.

For instance, I think the boots could use more cushioning on the bottom.

It would have been perfect for the boots to be entirely waterproof.

The arch support could be improved, also.

I really, really think the boots could use some longer laces; I never manage to make a double ribbon… the laces are too short for that.

This might seem weird, but the boots squeak when laces rub the leather parts.

And there is also some rubbing around the ankles; it got better in time, in the beginning this was more often.

Considering all these facts, I do consider these boots to be a little bit too pricey.

My „cons”?

  • pricey
  • not entirely waterproof
  • too short laces
  • the arch support could be improved

I still like these boots, I use them in all my daily hikes and I’m not sorry for buying them.
